2021–2022

Continue your journey as a Pioneer in Student Housing and Residence Life. We encourage our current residents to participate in the Returning Resident Process to reserve a space for the upcoming 2021–2022 academic year. Current residents will have priority over non-residents during this limited time. However, spaces will be designated based on classification. Housing for Fall 2021 will not be first-come, first-served. All those who complete their contract during the Returning Resident Process will be eligible to receive a lottery number to participate in the Room Selection Process. Please see below for more details.

Lottery Room Selection Process

  1. Those who complete the application and contract during the designated period will receive an email notifying them if they have been placed on the waitlist or if they may participate in the Room Selection Process.
    • Participants will be given a lottery time and can log into the housing portal any time at or after their assigned time to select a room.
    • Lottery Room Selection times are no longer assigned based on the date/time of contract submission.
    • After the application and contract period ends, all completed contracts will be entered into a lottery system. Assignment of lottery numbers is not first-come, first-served and will be randomly generated by the database.
  2. During your assigned lottery time, log into the housing portal to complete room selection.
    • Every fifteen (15) minutes, additional residents gain access to select their room. Logging in after your assigned time may reduce the chance of receiving your first preference.
    • Residents who are given a lottery time and do not participate may be manually placed based on availability or receive a waitlist notice.

Gender Open, Co-Ed, and Accessible Housing

  1. To best accommodate our diverse student population, Gender Open and Co-Ed housing options will continue to be offered.
  2. For accessibility needs (including service or emotional support animals), self-identify in the housing portal during the application and contract process.
