Overview 

Websites are built using many different components, such as banners, buttons, and message areas, etc. In Cascade CMS, these components are called content types. As a content editor, you can create and edit a variety of content types to build your pages.

Cascade CMS offers different content types depending on whether you are working on a Landing Page or an Interior Page. Many are available on both templates, but some are template-specific. For details, see Landing vs. Interior Page.

When adding a content type, be sure to complete all fields. Some fields will still publish even if left blank, so filling everything out ensures your content displays correctly.
